Prefabricated Storage Modules
CNC-cut plywood storage units, dowel-jointed and demountable, for a hutong courtyard.
A small-scale answer to a common hutong problem: too little storage, too little room to build. The units are cut from standard plywood sheets on a CNC router, joined with dowels, and carried into the courtyard flat.
Joinery
Every connection is a dowel. No glue, no screws, so the modules can be taken apart and moved again.
